MA Study in the Department of Greek and Latin, University College London, UK

Interested in postgraduate study in London? The Department at UCL runs two interconnected degree programmes: the MA in Classics and the MA in The Reception of the Classical World.  You can find details about the MA programmes, answers to FAQs, and the provisional programme of modules for 2016-17 on our postgraduate webpages: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/classics/students/postgraduate

The final deadline for submission of applications to UCL for postgraduate study is 29 July 2016.

The Department is currently offering up to eight MA studentships for study on either of the MA degree programmes. Applications for MA study must be received by 30 June 2016 if you want to be considered for an award. There is no separate application form for the studentships. All applicants (including those who have already applied) will be considered on the basic of academic merit. Awardees will be notified in mid-July.

For further details about the studentships, please see

The Department is part of a large UCL research establishment in the field of ancient world studies. Our staff have research strengths in Greek and Latin prose and verse from Homer to the Roman empire and in classical reception from antiquity to the present day. Situated in the heart of London, the Department offers a wide range of resources for the study of, and engagement with, the ancient world and is home to a thriving postgraduate community.
